Birthclub: July 2024

My girl have been taking isomil soy. However not sure for what every reasons, suddenly we couldn't find isomil formula for 1 year old onwards at fair price and even jin tai Mart. So currently we are giving her nutrisoy UHT but the smallest they have is 250ml which she would not finish some time and her school does not have a fridge to keep the balance. So is there any other brand to recommend?

Is cough syrup really not suitable for kids below the age of 2 years old? As private clinic ever prescribed that but we did not administrate to her as the natural remedy we have been trying kind of work whereas when we went to KKH they mention no cough syrup is recommended for kids below the age of 2. Thoughts parents?#askmommies

My girl is now 5yo. All the while (the past 4 years) I have been saying " when you are eating don't talk. BC you might get choked with the food." But, mil always talks to her only when she is eating or she is in the toilet showering. Why my Mil only talk to her when she is eating or showering?? I'm not saying totally can't talk but mil is talking to her the whole time my daughter is eating.. laughing.. playing.. Mil will push open the toilet door and laugh at her. But my daughter is shouting (scared) and say close the door I'm showering don't see me! She will laugh and talk to her. I'm so sad that I can't protect my girl. I told my husband and I want him to talk to his mother. Don't ever do it again. is very creepy! My girl changing mil peeps on her and making fun of my daughter not wearing clothes. Excuse me!!!! Wtf you want?? I'm here teaching my girl how to protect herself don't let anyone touch or see her private area. And yet you give her the wrong guidelines. As a woman we always protect ourselves. Never let anyone touch or see our private area. Haiz .. speechless

Hi my son have not started crawling yet… is this something to worry about?

I normally don't share my feelings with my husband. I used to do that. But in return, he will end up pointing out what is right and what is wrong. Instead of understanding. He doesn't have to agree with me. I'm so exhausted. I'm trying to share with him I feel that I'm going crazy and a lot of things have upset me recently. Instead of concerning me he chose to find my shortcomings. For example, it just happened yesterday. Mil asked the girl to hide under the dining table and play hide-and-seek ( IS A FAMILY MEMBER GATHERING! HER FAMILY IS THERE!) I heard one of the aunt say (aiyo so dirty, why play under the table) and mil laughing. My Mil did all this when my husband was not around. I told my husband he kept quiet. And he asked me back what do you want me to do. I say this is our daughter! Let people say she is naughty (your mother asks her to play under the table) you ask me what I want you to do. I suppose to be the one to ask you. This is not the first time she uses my daughter to entertain her. I really feel very very very very very upset that my mil always makes my daughter look bad in front of everyone and still say that ya lor she is very naughty always like that. What I see is my husband wants to find an excuse to cover my mil. If my daughter naughty my mil will tell my husband and say must teach. I really don't like how she makes up a story to my husband and my daughter gets punished. But most of the time she teaches my daughter. WHL.MMWXNL.WXCCN.RSLKYJMM

#Needadvice #nojudgement Any parents experience baby fall off from babycot once they start standing actively? What did you guys do after knowing your baby fall off? Do you guys straight bring to the hospital or wait for other symptoms?

Hello mummies & daddies does your child fall from the bed before, a queen size bed or any? Recently my baby fall from the bed due to actively crawling and baby head hit the cabinet and it land on the fan standing the round thingy. Theres no bump but scarring, cause theres bump abit but after compress ice it was okay and no symptoms but still monitoring. But still as a mom i feel bad & guilty that it was my fault that i was deeply asleep & didn’t monitor my baby well. 😭Do you guys straight bring your baby to A&E or observe first? Will there be any brain injury or fracture? What’s the worst symptoms that urgently needa to go hospital? Mind me asking cause i’m a first time mom & need advices. Thank you 🥹
