To go or not to go

Hello fellow mummies, apologize for reaching out again. I have been experiencing bleeding since 2am last night along with contractions. Today, when I visited KKH, I was only 1 cm dilated. They advised me to go back home. However, the contractions have intensified during the night... I am contemplating whether I should return and request a C-section or wait until my expected due date, which is Friday. Sleep seems impossible for me at the moment. The reason they refrained from inducing me today is due to my previous C-section, as they mentioned that induction could potentially rupture the previous scar and lead to internal bleeding... My visit today already cost me $115.. I am concerned that if I return today, they might send me back home again, resulting in another wasted trip and more medical expenses... I am uncertain about the best course of action.. Currently, the bleeding is like a menstrual flow.. Is it common to endure contractions (at a pain level of 7-8) for 2 days? It feels unbearable to me. Since my first child was overdue without any pain, I have never experienced natural contractions before.

Can call the emergency hotline to enquire? And they also need to check when they can schedule you for c section unless it’s emergency c section

Hr told me to book my maternity leave

Hr told me too book my maternity leave early I told them tht I wanted to wait till I give birth to apply but they say that no one does that. They force me to give a date so I just told them I'll be starting it on my due date then. My gynae has told me tht I won't go above my due date as I have gestational diabetes. But since I book the date for maternity leave on my due date do I have to inform them I gave birth earlier still or just let them start my maternity leave on my due date? I still have a lot of annual leave that I apply before due date. N my job is a retail job but some how it's so hard to use my annual leave. By the time I come back from maternity leave it will be block period meaning no one can use annual leave till end of year. Then starting of the new year I will only have 3 month to clear my leave before it's burn. In tht 3 months it's hard to take long leaves as my annual leave can't clash with others. I'm stress and don't know what to do. Any advice for me?

I'm almost due in 2 days and still no sign of active labor 😭 I have contractions but not strong... lots of mucus came out too since 3 days ago... I'm so worried they might induce me or I will end up having to go thru C-sect 🤦🏻‍♀️😭 the last time they checked I was already dilated 3cm... It's been 3cm since weeks ago..ppfttt... They did membrane sweep twice already to trigger contractions but nothing seems to change except mild cramping & slight contractions... I'm doing exercises, squats, going up and down the stairs too.. but nothing seems to be working lol 😑 Anyone else is like this too??? #FTM

FTM currently in week 36. it normal to feel much more sleepy, tired and cranky than usual?

I used to do pregnancy cardio/hiit workout or at least 30 mins walk once every 2 days in 2nd trimester… ever since week 35 my energy level dropped so much and i feel lazy to do workout, currently only do simple stretches once every 2-3 days. I get mood swings more frequently as well. 😭 I really want to stay active but i’m so tired😭

Leaking Amniotic Fluid

Just wanna share my experience with all mummies here. I am 36 weeks and 6 days today, and have been leaking amniotic fluid since three days ago. While most online search say leaking amniotic fluid feels like a running tap and your panty liner will be always wet, mine is not that case. My case I will just leak only when I visit the bathroom or when I sit up after lying down for too long, my panty liner is fairly dry. Nevertheless, I decided to call up my gynae and come in for a check which confirm is amniotic fluid leak. Got admitted right away and currently waiting for week 37 to be induced. So mommies, trust your instincts and get it checked whenever in doubt.

Kkh deposit for B2

I will be induce this week and understand I had to make payment about 1000+ for both me n baby but I'm taking B2 sub patient...despite asking the nurse ..she mentioned its a new policy..had any1 gone thru this ?
