Emotional Development

Hi am just wondering, my LO at 8 months now. Ever since she was ard 3 months she stopped crying even when she is hungry, popped. Now even when she is scared she does not cry. All she does is fusses. The only time she cries, when she is feeling pain like vaccination. Should I see a PD? Wonder if this is normal?

If she fusses but doesn’t cry, it just means that you sort out all her worries so quickly that she doesn’t even need to cry to get your attention ☺️ My 6 month old doesn’t cry very much anymore too. Quite a happy cheeky baby. And very assured of love from daddy, mummy and her sister.

To be honest if babies don't cry, we should thank our lucky stars but best to consult a specialist...you never know there may be underlying problems eg. https://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/congenital-insensitivity-to-pain-with-anhidrosis

Yes I really greatful she is not a crying baby. But just afraid of any problems of why she isn't crying. I don't even know if it's safe to go to clinic now. 😫

I think it’s normal. Every baby is different. Some likes to cry and some don’t.

Should be fine since she did know how to cry. Perhaps just a cool character.
