Induction process

My wife is scheduled for induction on 15/12/25 (Cervix still closed) Currently 39weeks + 2 days Has anyone gone through this process? How was it?

My #1 was induced around that week too. Inserted some strip to the cervix (cervidil) and waited. Unfortunately the waiting game was a bit long for me. About 17hours to reach 3cm dilation 🥲 But the active labor part no issue.

yes. i had induce on 38 weeks. its fine not too worry. basically you will go there, they will check and insert the medicine in the cervix. then you wife will be warded. so just need to wait.

i start to feel contractions the next day but at 4am. but cervix was only open at 2cm. then they give me epidural to let me sleep. then i had an emergency C sect at 10pm as the baby head was stuck.
