Certainly! Here's a simple and delicious pasta sauce recipe: Ingredients: 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 onion, finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) Salt and pepper to taste Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional) Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional) Instructions: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors meld together and the sauce thickens. Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency, taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve the sauce over your favorite cooked pasta, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your homemade pasta sauce! This one does it for me... Salsa Rose' for Pasta or Gnocchi - A Creamy Tomato Sauce Ingredients: 1/2 cup (125 ml) homemade or store-bought tomato sauce 1/2 cup (125 ml) heavy cream A small clove of garlic, chopped Salt and pepper to taste 1/4 cup (15 g) grated Parmigiano Chopped parsley for garnishing A scant pound (400 g) penne or potato gnocchi Preparation: #1Bring the water to a rolling boil, salt it, and add the penne, gnocchi, or other short pasta of choice. #2 Meanwhile, heat the tomato sauce and garlic in a small saucepan. When the pomarola starts to boil, stir in the cream and heat through, being careful not to let the sauce burn. Season it to taste and turn off the heat. #3 When the pasta's cooked, drain it and transfer it to a bowl. Stir in the sauce and the cheese, garnish with parsley, and serve. #4 Or, if you'd rather, transfer the drained pasta (don't do this if you are cooking gnocchi) to a skillet and toss it for a minute or so with the sauce over high heat before serving it.

Carbonara Sauce is my favourite. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/spaghetti-alla-carbonara-recipe.html My two main hurdles each time I try to make this sauce is that 1. I can't seemed to combine the egg and cheese mixture well enough 2. preventing the egg from becoming scrambled eggs when adding the sauce to the pasta Regardless how it turned out each time, I always enjoyed it because it's cheese and eggs! ;)

Nothing beats a good bolognese sauce -- hearty, filling and oozes warmth. I used the Jamie Oliver recipe as a base but I will tweak the spices here and there, add extra ingredients like mushrooms. I also quite like the Arrabiatta sauce, it's like a spicier version of the bolognese. http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/beef-recipes/spaghetti-bolognese/

I love anything with pesto in it so my favourite would be the pesto cream sauce. I don't have a recipe that I follow, usually it's me throwing pesto into a simmering hot cream, seasoned with salt, pepper and chilli flakes. But here's a simple recipe you can follow if you're interested: http://www.food.com/recipe/pesto-cream-sauce-287975

Matt Preston, one of Masterchef Australia's Judge said "For pasta, the simplier. better" I love humble pmodoro sauce made with fresh tomatoes. Kids will love it with some parmesan added on top. And adults can easily add the heat or spicy-ness just by added paprika powder. Nyum!

I love the tomato basil spaghetti, but I like it better with Angel hair. The recipe is very simple; even kids can make it. It is available on Jamie Oliver's website at http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/pasta-recipes/classic-tomato-spaghetti/
