What can a dad do to make delivery better for his wife? Without telling her to breathe and push. I need more things on standby for me to offer my wife who's delivering our first child next month.

My husband prepare a list of jokes to tell me during my contraction pain. But I find it too hard to distract myself from the pain. I think you can just offer your shoulder, arms and hands for her to hold/grab during the pain to let her know that you are right beside her and with her all the time. My hubby did it and end up with some 'love' bruises on his arms :)
