Extended Maternity Leave

Hi sa mga employed mommies na naka maternity leave before maglabas ng IRR for EML. Diba po covered daw ang nanganak ng Mar 11 onwards. April 20 kasi ako nanganak pero di ko pa naco-confirm sa HR kung applicable ba sakin yung 105 days kasi 60 days lang yung na file ko dahil wala pa IRR nun. Nahihiya kasi ako itanong sa hr namin kasi. Pano ginawa nyo? Covered ba talaga tayo? Help po. Thank uuu!!!

Hi mommy, yes covered ka dapat. However, some companies (like the company that i work for) are not implementing it yet since wala pang nilalabas na guidelines ang SSS. Kakacheck ko lang din sa Twitter account ng SSS at wala pa din silang update regarding this. So it's better to call your hr na lang to confirm kasi some other companies naman are extending the leave na even without the memo from SSS. 😊
