English-speaking or Tagalog-speaking?
Hello mys. I'm a FTM and pinagiisipan ko na kung palalakihin ko ba ang baby ko na English-speaking o Tagalog-speaking. Sa opinion niyo, mys? Saan magkakaroon ng advantage ang kids? Share your thoughts below. :)
Yung nephew ko, tagalog usapan namin sa bahay pero natuto din sya ng English kakapanood ng children show and songs sa YouTube. Pinoys are all bilingual na, the environment and education system will teach your kid to speak both English and Filipino. No need for exclusivity. A lot of my pamangkins din na inglesero't inglesera nahirapan nung nagschool na due to Filipino subject. Yung iba kasing parents think that having a child who speaks well in English is a bragging right na that their child is better than other child. Teach your kid to converse well in both languages. Mas ok kung may dialect kayo na he/she will learn also as he/she grows up.
