Constipation

Hello! I'm going to be 10 weeks tmr and having constipation. Yesterday was very bad so I strained and tried to squeeze it out. Is it OK? Will it harm the baby?

I took papaya (ripe ones, not the unripe or even slightly green ones), and bananas, and it helped alot. I'm in my 3rd trimester now and still having constipation, but papayas and bananas are really what works best for me. Maybe it can help you too!

Please don't use force. It's not very good. I have constipation isssue too & I force myself to drink lots of plain water. You can ask your gynae for duphalac syrup (can buy from watson/guardian also). It make our stools softer.

Unlikely. U need to drink plenty of water and increase ur fibre intake as well. If u r still having constipation, u may get stool softener med from ur gynae.

Yellow skin dragonfruit help me go through that period then continue having more fruits in diet as well..

Drink plenty of water and eat prunes. Banana every morning. Helps me though!

Wont harm the baby but you might get a nasty haemorrhoid..
