7 weeks pregnancy but only sac is visible

Hi all, Finally I got the answer.. yesterday I had a heavy bleeding with lots of blood clots.. minor cramps also felt as if I am having menstrual cramp.. the bleed continues until today and hasn’t stop.. HCG level dropped and ultrasound showed a shrinked sac.. went to Dr Goh and she said it’s a blighted ovum.. we grieve as a parent to be but it doesnt change the fact that miscarriage is something beyond our control.. Thanks for all the supports and sharings.. this gives me a valuable lesson that pregnancy is tough but worth all the roller coaster of emotions 😊 I am okay and resting well.. hope everyone is expecting have a safe and healthy journey!

Had similar experience... I was informed that there's only 2 possible outcomes..one is miscalculated.. and to wait for 1-2 weeks time to scan again, hopefully something shows.. else.. it could be blighted ovum (a type of very early miscarriage), but it's totally not your fault.. Fingers crossed and hope everything turns out well for u.. this is a very tough waiting period but stay positive..

I experienced before. i was supposed to be in my 8th or 10th weeks. but doc says i might have miscounted my period days. i said no, as i always marked dates on my calendar each time im on my period. every scan i only see an empty sac. after 1 month of waiting & sac no growing at all, doc says i had missed miscarriage. however, don’t think so much. just wait for the next scan.

Lmp is not accurate . Happened to me too cs i ovulated late. Supposed to be week 7 bt mine was week 4/5. But at 8 week can see fetus and heartbeat. Now hes a healthy 18 months old
