no heartbeat

hi all, i really need advise here. went for my scan which doc at kkh counted as 6weeks 3days but turn out my scan only shows yolk size with a waterbag but there is yet to have heartbeat of my baby. i am so worried as doc ask me to come back for another scan in 2weeks time. Doc says my baby may be small or my ovalution is too early. what does that mean?

Its probably too early. I was in your situation too, n im now 20 weeks pregnant with a super active bb! Have faith :)

6 weeks is a little too small to detect any heartbeat through ultrasound scan. Wait until at least 8 weeks onwards. :)

thank u much mummy rochelle.. atleast i feel abit of relief when i have alot of experience mummies ard to talk to & ask for opinions/advices.

Don’t worry. It’s still too early. Meanwhile just rest well and take care of yourself.

Yes week 6 is too early to hear any heartbeat. We starting hearing from week 8 onwards.

My doc told me usually heartbeat can be detected at week 8. So don’t stress!

Wait until at 8 weeks old for the ultrasound scan again
