How long did Labour last for you?

Hi mums! How long did Labour last for you, and if epidural was used? For mums that had quick Labour what did you think helped with the process? (Even if its not scientificly proven to help) Thanks (:

Not sure if you would consider this quick. Induced at 38 weeks. Labour started at around 2.30am and got an epidural at about 8am. Baby was born at 1.48pm. I was stuck at about 3cm for a while. I tried to refocus and not be anxious about the number and things progressed. Had a natural assisted birth (vacuum). Maybe the refocoussing helped with the dilation, as I was less anxious.

Induced at 38 weeks. Start to feel slight contractions at 12am so continue to wait till almost 5am, contractions was unbearable so asked for epidural. Took epidural at 6am and was at 4cm dilation. Gave birth at 12pm. Took almost 1.5 hours to push coz no stamina. Managed to push her out before doctor decided to vacuum her out. I did drink raspberry tea and did squats too.

1.5hrs labour. Not in time for epi and not required. Walk more and squats can help in dilation. Reach hospital at 5cm, when gynae reach was ard 10cm, straight push.

mine was induced at 39 wks took 6 hours. raspberry leave tea and frequent deep squats i feel played a part for my 'quick'labour
