How do manage your family budget for Christmas?

Hi, I start saving from the very next day of Christmas. Since, Christmas is the only time when people from my family and my husband's family get together, it is a huge celebration at my place. So, I have no option but to start from the day one to think about how I am going to have the next year's celebration.

Hi, Thankfully, my husband takes the responsibility of saving for the Christmas. But, like a kid, I maintain a little piggy bank. I put a certain set amount in it each month for the activities that my husband is not very keen to include but I am. That is my little way of saving for the festival.

I started saving few months before Christmas as I know we would have several activities towards December. I also plotted our tentative schedules and computed the estimated cost for each activity.

I actually buy my gifts for kids every September. For Christmas eve food, we just order for example lechon belly and pancit malabon. We don't cook to much. It's better to relax and chill.
