baby is fever cannot give rice?

Huh? Why? I have never heard of that and none of my family, friends or even my kids PDs ever gave that advice.

Not sure why old people say rice is heaty for fever. So we always take porridge instead of rice when sick.

May b because of digestive problem . But u can give porridge or mashed rice for easy digestion

It's better to avoid as not all grains are easy to digest.

More of like no appetite as rice is too heavy for fever.
