False detection of twins

Hi Did anyone had an encounter of wrong scan at about 9weeks where septum (sacs'wall between 2 babies sac) and scanned again at 12 weeks where only one baby appears on screen? Normally heard about hidden twin not a false detection of twins. I'm super confused.

1st doc said it is most probably a set of twins since there's a septum between 2 cavities (sacs) & this is at 9weeks... 2nd doc confidently prove im wrong by saying it's a singleton at 12weeks... idk quite upset since i have that intuition even before that 9w scan that this is indeed twins
