Same boat as you, my FIL forever in denial that his grandson is sleepy and time for bed, despite my MIL coaxing him to handover the baby back to me. "He's not sleepy, see he wants to play!" But he knows when I approach him, he needs to "surrender" the baby because I snatched my baby back once 😜
I ha same issue my mil and fil always do that and it irritate me alot. Or they will wake her up when she's asleep. What I do just carry her to room.
You’re in charge, Mummy. Take him away from your mum. Overtired babies are not fun for us, and not good for our little one too.
Excuse yourself and bring your baby along. Go into your room and switch off the light. I think they will get the message
Happens to me too. Usually I will carry my baby away to their room while be firm to say they need sleep rest.
Tell your elders the more sleep baby has , the smarter they become next time
Bring baby to room. Dim the light and turn on lullaby to prepare baby to sleep.
Some elderly wont listen. We just avoid bringing baby to them during nap times.
Just announce he want to slp and bring the baby to the room straight
Take charge mummy! Tell them nicely and bring your DS to sleep.
