Baby Fusses And Cries Alot

My baby is 6 weeks old and seem to be fussing and crying alot especially over the past week. She will yell n fuss once wake up, cannot put down after she sleep and sometimes it seems for no reason. Is she going through a growth spurt? She drinks 80ml every 2-2.5h at the moment total abt 700-800ml. Really very exhausting I wonder how long this will last.

Growth spurts should last at most a week. If this persists and you do suspect gassiness, try Ridwind? At around this age, my LO needed Ridwind every day because she had the same symptoms. I also needed to cuddle her a lot more and let her sleep on me. The cot was impossible for her at this stage. But the Ridwind did help quite a bit.. makes it easier for the baby to pass wind. Hope your LO feels better soon!

Is it a cry because of pain? Do you check her stomach for gas?

    My baby also like this when younger. The only thing I can do is to rock him and carry until sleep. He is also a light sleeper.
