My LO has been sleeping on his tummy especially at night once he learnt how to flip from back to tummy at 13 weeks.. Initially I kept waking up to check on him as I was very paranoid. But he sleeps on a babysafe mattress which has holes in them so I guess my worries were unfounded.

Yup it's quite common for babies to do that by that age. My bestie's son started to do it after turning 5 months. The poor first time mommy had to constantly keep a lookout on baby at night so that she could turn him back because she was a wee bit paranoid about SIDS.
Yes, for me my baby sleeps on the tummy every now and then. I know that its not advisable. However there was a point when baby slept on his flat on one side till it was slightly flaten. So now, i often change positions for baby. Hope this helps.

My baby is 7 months old and he sleeps in all kind of positions (I.e back, tummy, sides and sometimes even crouches). He usually will toss and turn until he finds his most comfortable position.
My 8m baby sleep on tummy all the time..has been like this since 6m. He will roll all over the bed.. I think is OK as long as his whole face does not sink flat into the bed.
My nephew did when he was around 6.5months old after he learned to roll over. My cousin would roll him back onto his back when she notice him sleeping on his tummy.
