I know babies are supposed to sleep on their backs, but mine keeps turning over on his tummy. What should I do?

How old is your baby? If she can roll back herself from tummy to back already then you no need to worry about. If baby is younger, try to adjust her sleeping by placing her on her back instead of tummy to reduce SIDS risk. Your baby should sleep on a firm surface that’s covered by a tight-fitting sheet. There should be no loose bedding, soft pillows, or stuffed toys in your baby’s sleeping area. http://www.babysleepsite.com/tag/baby-sleeping-on-stomach/

My baby did that when she was about 3 months. My hubby and I became light sleepers during that time and would jump out of bed periodically to check on her. We didn't want to wake her as she slept better that way. Gradually we became more slack and she's 6 months now. Just make sure that there aren't any pillows, blankets or soft toys in case of suffocation.

My son did that when he is young he always sleep on his tummy! Guess like that he feel more secure and comfort ! This way he can sleep longer and reduce on crying! Most importantly is that make sure he is not suffocated and they will change the way they sleep when they are older! Now he sleep by the side he didn't train him to sleep that way now he prefer !

My baby used to do the same thing! We would flip her onto her back anyway, since we were so afraid of SIDS. Sometimes she'd wake up, but eventually she got used to it.

thanks
