Yes. It is safe to bath newborn daily. It is actually good that you establish a daily routine so the baby will be more predictable on what is happening next. For me, I bath my baby twice when they are young. One in the morning after milk feeds (latching) to let the newborn feels 'refresh'. Another bath session is in the evening right before bedtime to give the clue to baby it's time to sleep. If your baby has dry skin and you’ve been bathing her every day, you could cut back to bathing two times to three times a week, to see if this makes a difference. Keeping bath times short – no longer than five to 10 minutes - will help to prevent your baby’s skin from drying out. http://www.babycenter.in/a553837/bathing-your-newborn

Yes I do bathe my baby daily since the day she came home with us, in fact twice as well. Once is when she wakes up in the morning to clean away all the sweating from sleeping at night (my baby perspires a lot) and the other time is part of a bedtime routine. If the weather is cold I will just wipe her down or if we're out then we'd skip the night wipe down. Most nursing rooms are air conditioned so it's not advisable to do so outside in case she catches a cold.

I'm also bathing my baby twice a day. The weather in Singapore is humid and babies tend to get sticky if they don't have baths. In between baths, we wipe her down frequently with a wet towel so she feels more refreshed. Bath time is also a good opportunity for child and parent to bond. My baby loves splashing in the water. We can't wait to bring her swimming! http://sg.theasianparent.com/babys-bath-time-a-moment-of-bonding-play-and-learning/

Yes. I bathe my baby daily too. Twice a day - in the morning & evening. I think whether to bathe daily, it depends on the country you are staying. In Singapore's hot and humid weather, babies tend to perspire a lot and it's good to bathe them daily to keep them hygiene and refresh. However, in countries with cold weather, it may be better to bathe in alternate days as babies do not sweat and it may dry up baby's skin if bathe too frequently.

It is fine to bathe your newborn daily. During the bath, focus on areas where the skin folds and creases (e.g., armpit, behind the knees). Babies don’t really get dirty as they seldom move about but those are areas where dirt will gather. Use moderate amount of shower gel so that the water is not too soapy (prevent baby from slipping from your hands).
