Any recommendations on lightweight, comfortable wraps (not a sling or pouch) particularly suitable for a newborn?

Wraps that are suitable for newborn: 1. Stretchy wraps - about 5 meters long of stretchy fabric - Hana, Solly and Moby bamboo (from https://babybuys.com.sg/collections/stretchy-wraps) are some of the less warm ones - can pre-tie to put baby in - great for newborns, but less supportive after baby is 6 to 8kg - K tan is a pre-tied stretchy. Easier to use than the usual stretchy wraps, but there are different sizes. It is important to get the correct size. If too big, baby would be too low (unsafe and uncomfortable), if too small, would be too tight. Also means that your husband may need a different size. 2. Woven wraps - about 4 to 5 meters of non-stretchy fabric - for newborn to toddler - can be tied in many styles. I do not personally use these kind of wraps. Babies cannot move freely because they are placed in one position, it seems that it’s putting too much pressure on those soft joints especially on their backs because of the pull of gravity. This is just my observation.

I previously used a boba wrap. It is a stretchy wrap and pretty simple to use.

You mean like the baby ktan? You can buy it at Mothercare or Motherworks.
