Any review on baby safe sling:- Baba sling and Pupsik pouch sling? How about carrier? Manduca, ergo, britax, baby bjorn, beco? Which one is advisable? My baby is 8 weeks old now. I am thinking to buy one of the above so that I can bring her out easily without stroller.

I use the Baba sling and Pupsik pouch sling. Prefer the Baba as it is adjustable and not so taxing on the shoulders. Pupsik had sleepy dust when baby was newborn till about 4 weeks and after that it became very painful for me. I used Baba till baby was 4 months old and starting to get active and don't want to be reclined. Then I switched to ErgoBaby 360 and I would say I was lucky I bought 360 which I can put baby forward facing. She would get very curious and keep trying to stretch out and make noises to make me turn her to the front. It's also very comfortable for me especially when I get backache from carrying baby without a carrier.

There are many, many types of carriers. The image shows ergonomic carriers which is very important for both baby (hip and spine support and development) and mother (comfort and weight distribution). I had a Pupsik pouch sling which is an easy carrier to use. The newer version is adjustable. For soft structured carriers, there are so many brands as well. Tula, Lennylamb, Kokadi Flip, emeibaby.. Do try out a few slings and carriers before deciding! :) You may try out the slings here: Babyslings & Carriers http://www.babyslingsandcarriers.com/contact Bumwear http://www.bumwear.com/contacts.html

I have used Manduca and TULA. Both are very ergonomic and able to support baby well. No regret in investing them. I find pupsik pouch sling is suitable for very young baby, when baby gets older the weight will make our shoulder very strained and painful.

thanks
