I’m 23 weeks pregnant. And recently every morning I wake up feeling down and sad. It lasts almost the entire day and I feel like crying. How do I know if it’s hormones or depression?

I'm 23 weeks pregnenet last week i have diagnosed with Appendicitis ☹️😔 some how my docs mange to control my pain thank god.

Hi, been looking for reassurance/advice. ever since i'm pregnant(currently 19+weeks) i've been craving spicy food and 9/10 times i can only stomach spicy food. if it's not spicy, i wont be able to eat much. So far i havent felt any side effects (heartburn, etc) just wondering if anyone has experience the same thing and if it affects baby if i continue to eat like this? :/ really cannot give up spicy food 😭 #firsttimemom

NUH Subsidized Patient - C section

First time mom (with GDM) here. Very nervous about going for C Section. Anyone who went NUH recently had c section? Can walk through the process of the whole thing? 1) Will the injection on your back hurt very badly? 2) Will they allow the husband to be there for moral support? 3) Will they let you see the baby first? 4) Anything else that I have to take note of? May I know how to select the right size for postpartum? I'm usually a small build person (below 50kg in beginning of 3rd trimester), but right now tummy is big and in dilemma if I should go for M-L or L-XL after delivery. Will M-L be tight or it will be alright and stretchable?

Hello mommies! Just curious… May I know if you would allow any of your friends if they want to be your kid’s God Mother? Are there any expectations for being a God Mother to your kid? My friend wants to be my kid’s God Mother but she has never check up on me or my kid during my pregnancy. She even forgot my kid’s special milestones (gender reveal, EDD month etc). I even reminded her on the dates several times. What would you do? 🤔

Anyone failed the 1 hour test for OGTT?

What do they usually need you to do besides diet of you fail the 1 hour test but passed the other 2? Is it due to age and slow metabolism?

Nuh sub anyone referred to Endo Pregnancy clinic for Diabetes?

Hi anyone from NUH sub patient here? At which week does the doctor refer you to Endo Pregnancy Clinic for Diabetes check? I have been referred after my prenatal blood test result is out and I'm worried it might be my result came out high risk but upon checking the lab result I don't see any test under diabetes. Read most people was referred at wk20-24 however I was referred on week 12. It seems early. Anyone face the same? Is this a normal procedure to check gestational diabetes on Wk 12? Should I be worried that I'm of high risk?
