Bookstores like Kinokuniya carries pretty good educational material for preschoolers. Some of the books in stock mixes the best of both worlds -- toys and books -- in the form of interactive books (usually with audio, visual and sensory features). Another suggestion would be Popular Bookstore. That is the traditional go-to place for educational materials when I was growing up and from what I remember, I think that the selection for pre-schoolers are pretty good too.
Kinokuniya seems to be the best option. However, I found a helpful list that might supply any alternatives. http://www.thebestsingapore.com/best-shopping/the-best-5-bookstores-in-singapore/ There are also some fun game websites that can help stimulate your kids: http://www.learninggamesforkids.com/preschool_games.html

Bookstores like Kinokuniya and Bookaburra are stocked with educational books for all age ranges including pre-schoolers. For books on a budget you might want to check out Junior page which is located at Alexandra Retail Centre.

Dont buy! Rent! National library, save money, and spending quality time with your kid. I always prefer renting. Lastly, does not take up space. :)
