I was overseas thus only brought my 31 mo for his first dental visit recently. If it is just for a routine checkup u may consider school dental clinic at health promotion board, the consultation is just $9.
It is advisable to bring as long as they have teeth. But I only brought my toddler to dentist when she is 3. You can make appt at the school dental at HPB. It will only cost $9.
Brought my son when he was 18months old. My wife booked the appointment with National Dental Centre a female dentist Dr Tan. Can't remember her full name but she is pretty old but experience.
It's recommended to bring kids to the dentist once they are a year old or 6 months after they have teeth. While this might seem early, increasing numbers of children have cavities by years 2-4
Normally they advise on they have teeth..but my experience..even at 2 years old its tough to sit n open the mouth to check..i would say 2.5 to 3 would be best to start
based on the seminar I attended to, starting na magkateeth si baby dapat na ipadentist..pero ako hindi ko pa kc sya nahanapan ng pedia dentist malapit samin..
I have read somewhere can start bring to dentist at 1 yr old? I intend to brig my girl for her 1st check at 1 yr old too since she have 6 teeth now at 9 month!
does the dentist at hpb use those zzz zzz thing to clean the teeth like adults? i thinking of bringing but i scare the experience might put him off
I have 3 kids I didn't bring them to dentist before so far not so bad but my girls is in primary 2 now ... school follow up if u need more care
depend on the grown teeth. if grown too early of stage we need to plan for dentist visit... I bring my kids when they turn 2yo.
