Toddlers and cinema

It largely depends on your child, I know of some parents who bring their kids to movies as young as 2-3 months old - but my son only went to a child-friendly movie screening (special ones at cinemas just for kids) at probably 1.5 years old and he came out crying 20 minutes later because he got too upset that the characters were yelling at each other ... Hmmm.

I guess its nice to bring our toddlers to the cinema but only during those mother/child screenings. It might be disruptive to bring them to normal screenings as they may not react well to the darkness and loud sounds.

I don’t bring my LO to the cinema as I find it disruptive and inconvenient. I prefer to watch movies with them at home.

i dont bring toddler to cinema because it is hard to control their behavior and they cant stay long for 2 hrs too
