From about 2 years plus. Just a caveat, the GP clinic I usually bring the kids to sees lots of young patients so the doctors are generally well versed in caring for young patients. I've encountered GPs in other clinics who I would have a hard time trusting them with my kids.

I will go gp if its not serious since my bb born. Only went pd once for hfm when the polyclinic says that there is nothing they can do except for baby to recover on her own. I claimed PA insurance then. 3 appts in total, costs more than 500.

A lot of medicines are safe for children after the age of 2 (paediatric doses), but it’s really up to you to decide:) Some family GPs have a lot of experience with children too.

only brought to PD once after hospital... too expensive to continue... polyclinic from then on
