Yes, squeeze some lemon juice and put in the remaining into the water and turn on the steriliser( without the milk bottle inside). It should remove most of the rust.

Descale it first then can use:) we used vinegar and water. There are instructions in the manual

I think better to get a new one as this is rusty and with water it will get more rusty
