Any tricks on how to let your toddler take his medicine aside from mixing it with other drinks?

Aww.. I've also tried these tricks and make-believe but most of the time it's really difficult to convince a child to drink medicine especially if the taste is not too good. Sometimes you just have to be tough in putting the medicine inside their mouth and give them a reward like chocolate or toy afterwards.
