How to feed a 16mo medicine

Hello, my 16mo little one needs to consume antibiotics. He has rejected consuming from a syringe and when we tried to mix it with his meal, he rejected them as well. We tried mixing it into his milk but he seems to be able to detect it halfway through the bottle. Am at a loss and he needs to complete the course with 5 days to go 😞
