Vaccination

Any tips on first trip to the polyclinic for vaccination? Daddy is sick and so I have to be the one who hold baby for the jab. But I myself is scared of jab and baby will feel my nervousness.

Nurses are very good and expert in baby vaccination. They will advise you how to hold your baby before the jab. Usually baby will just whine/cry a bit only. My LO doesn’t even cry during all the jabs coz we will distract her with stuff/toys and talk to her before she can cry..

Welcome

Look away when the nurse is doing the jab. It would be better if your baby is sleeping. He/she won't feel the pain. But would cry a little, just carry her over your should he/she will feel better. (That's what the nurse told me and it works)

Ok hopefully she is sleeping. Thank you.

Better to call to make appointment first, bring your baby's health booklet and ask the friendly staff for help upon arrival You may wish to bring your CDA bank card too in case needed to be used and bring your NRIC
