Would you throw a debut for your daughter when she turns 18? Ano yung significance nito para sa inyo?

I had one when I was 18 and I suppose it was a coming-of-age thing! Looking back though, para syang celebration of life (up til that point). It was nice to gather friends old and new (December baby so I had college friends na rin at my debut) and to hear messages of love from family na rin!
