Insurance for your children

Is there a need to get early critical Illness insurance plan for your children. As already get Hospital plan with rider.

It’s depends on your preference and finances I guess. Critical illness is usually a once off payout per illness, while hospitalisation covers treatment costs. For me, I got critical illness coverage for myself because my income would be gone, and my family would need some money, but for my kids, I didn’t choose to have critical illness or life insurance. I’ll probably advise them to get those when they’re older and planning for adulthood, and may have beneficiaries like spouses/children in the future. And of course, I do what I can (within my power) to protect my children from critical illness and death.
