Shield plan

I would like to purchase shield plan before the birth of my baby. But I noticed that most shield plan without underwriting have to be combined purchase with a Maternity Insurance + Whole Life plan. Is there any insurance provider that provides Maternity insurance + no underwriting of baby ?

I thought all shield plans require full medical underwriting? You’re talking about the hospital/surgical plans which can be paid by Medisave right?

yup, I'm referring to the integrated shield plan. I know for AXA we have to purchase maternity + wholelife plan before we can purchase a shield plan (with no under writing). but it cost 2k for whole life + 500 for maternity alone. Personally , I feel shield plan are most important. but it seems like I can't buy a shield plan+ maternity without getting a life plan.
