Nope. In fact it's probably safer to wear one. Uncomfortable but unfortunately it's safer to keep the bugs away. If you're asking about wearing mask during delivery, I didn't have to. No patient in the maternity ward wore one either. I wore for a few hours but stopped when my contractions got strong and I needed to regulate my breathing. I delivered in sgh.

No there isn't, from my knowledge. But during labour, if it is too difficult to put on a mask they might offer a face shield instead. (best to confirm with the gynae)
