With my first pregnancy i found out i had diabetes no doctors told me to get rid of my baby. You'll have diabetes doctors n midwives that can help you w your pregnancy diabetes. I'm pregnant w my second baby n i have two type diabetes i have diabetic midwife that's always checking up on my sugars n diet just for the safe of the baby n myself . I have induction coming up due to my sugars are high baby getting big.

I think if she is diabetic she can manage her diet n there r many medicines which she can take n insulin also if doctor suggest she should consult another doctor there is no need to feel depress because I had seen a diabetic mother who was pregnant n deliver healthy baby only u hv to monitor ur sugar in daily basis it should not reach beyond limit whether uhv to take insulin or another medicine

For starters, her baby can develop gestational diabetes. High blood sugar during pregnancy could also have adverse effects such as high birth weight, C-section delivery, and preeclampsia, a complication that can lead to premature birth. Please ask her to seek a second medical opinion because some moms only develop diabetes when they get pregnant so perhaps it can also work the other way around?

I have a cousin in states who had the same situation. She can't get pregnant because she's diabetec. Giving birth involves wounds and stitches. We all know that most diabetics can't get any wound or even just a scratch because it take them a long time to heal the wounds. That might be the reason why which makes sense.

If her diabetic still can cotrolled by diet and meddecine i think she can continuing her pregnancy... maybe she needs second opinion with other doctors

Go continue your pregnamcy
