That's just the advice of those experts to my baby. kung nakita naman ng pedia mo ung lo mo at feeling nya need ng baby mo ang water, siguro follow mo nalang. profession nila yan e. just sharing my experience lang ako momsh

Hi mommy, you can ask your peds if you are confused with their answer or you want to be enlighten about everything about your baby. We cannot just rely on Social Media information, it can be right or not at all. I suggest, if you’re not comfortable with your peds doctor, look another one that you can ask anytime you have questions about your baby. I’m a 1st time mom too, and I feel for you. I started giving water to my baby when I giving him solid food when he was four months, that’s my peds recommendation. I hope this helps. 🙂

momsh kaya naman hindi pinapainom ng water, isa sa mga reason kasi mabubusog ang baby ng walang sustansya dahil sa tubig lang ininom. maliit lang kasi tummy nila momsh kapag pinainom mo sila ng tubig possible na kapag nag dede sila masuka nila yun. tsaka our breast milk is 80% water. and also as per study too much water can cause water intoxication, which can cause seizures and even a coma. sabi naman momsh too much water ee. sip lang cguro pwede. hehe

if exclusive breastfeeding no need for water since nagbabago ang consistency ng breastmilk depending on the need of the baby. like right now na sobrang init, nagiging mas marami ang water content ng breastmilk naturally. if you would give water to the baby, konti lang din, kung formula fed, pwedeng bigyan.

Better po talaga na no water especially if purely breastfeeding. Iba iba sinasabi ng doc actually. My pedia before was ok to give at 4mos but said na if I prefer to not give until 6mos it was ok also.

Same with my 1st born. nirecommend ni pedia to drink water but 2 to 3 drops lang every after milk time. breastfeed din sya noon. its way back 2012. she's healthy naman. ang reason ni pedia to cleanse the throat sa milk.
