My three year old does not sleep early and only dozes off around 2 in the night. What do I do to make her sleep early?

i can share some tips that helped my 2 year old set a bedtime pattern, she sleeps by 8 every night and sleeps through the night. 1. try to reduce her day time naps and distract her with other activities, such as playing, drawing and such 2. let her play as much as she likes and encourage physical exertion 3. make sure that you don't give her anything sweet after evening, as sugary things can make it difficult to feel sleepy 4. help her have more warm foods in the evening, such as warm soups, warm milk and such...it will help her body relax and start to settle for the night. 5. reduce the lighting in the room and also try to remove all sources of noise, especially from gadgets 6. give her a nice warm bath, gently massaging her head and telling her how sleepy you are, and yawning and fake yawning over and over again...wrap her in a towel and massage her dry, then make her wear something snug 7. talk to her in soothing tones for anything that you speak. in fact, whether or not you are reading out a story, keep your voice low for sure 8. show her that you are also sleepy and ready to sleep and tuck her in bed - if she doesn't want to sleep, let her lie down in the dark and cosy room 9. get her into bed at least an hour before she normally does - it will help to slowly bring up the bedtime to what you desire

Let her nap in the afternoons be short. Also, in the evenings either take her to the parks, make her run around, or play music for her and let her dance and jump. If she will be exhausted, she will sleep on time. Make her have full feed so that she doesn't wake up of hunger. Take her to the room, talk and play a little before bedtime. Switch off the lights and pretend to be sleeping with her, and since she would be tired of all the activity of the evening would sleep in no time.

Does you child sleep lots during the day? If so, cut down on morning or afternoon naps and include lots of activities in the day to tire out your child. Also start getting into the habit of a consistent night time ritual and get your child to bed at the same time every night. 30 days of consistent activity will create sleep Habit for your child

Will be good if she has a comfort blanket as well. And do start bit by bit. So for example she sleeps around 2 now, try to bring it forward to 1.30am then 1am and so on. Depending on how well she progresses each stage may take 3 days or up to a week. Probably some soothing music for sleep relaxation can help her sleep better too!

Create a bedtime routine. Read her a bedtime story and tuck her into bed and make sure the lights are switched off. You can have a cute night light for her to feel safe. If the room is dark and cosy, it will be easier for her to fall asleep.

thanks
