My son spends his pocket money buying stickers and erasers from the school bookstore instead of buying food to eat. Any ideas on how I can tell him to stop doing that and to eat instead? I've repeatedly told him to just eat and ask me before he buys anything, but he doesn't do that. So frustrating.

You could just give him a lunchbox instead of pocket money if you are sure that all his money is going to these small knick knacks. I remember spending my money at the bookstore as a kid as well!

It's good habits that he was spending money on the his day to day activities he need. You should be happy with his attitude.
