Doctors advise to wait until 6 months. There's no significant nutritional benefit to give solids before that. Also, you may want to consider traditional weaning or baby led weaning. You can easily Google the methods and pros and cons. Personally I prefer tradition weaning as i can't bear the risk of baby accidentally choking. Start off with very soft pureed foods, e.g. steam and blend rice, potatoes, carrots, pumpkin etc.

Ideally, babies can start eating solids from the 6th month onwards. However, lately, even PDs recommend introducing solids as early as 5 months. This is provided the baby is able to support his/her head and neck to avoid choking.

Can try when bb is 6 months old, able to sit well. However still needs to see bb's cue. Some are not ready to accept at 6 months old, then u have to stop for awhile n try again. Dont force them to eat.

Hi, You can start introducing solids to your LO once he reaches 6 months if age. You can try introducing different flavours mix and match for the baby

Super Mum

Not exactly. U can try introducing at 6 months if your LO can sit up properly and take it slow from there.
