Mum-in-laws and cooking for their sons... would you try to make a dish your hubby likes better than she does? Or would you simply ask her for her recipe to share?

I wont look into competing with her, but i will ask for the recipe and try to learn how to make the dish from her. It will serve as a good time to bond with my mother in law.
