Money can make you happy, but of course happiness is not just all about money. It includes family, work, health, healthy relationship, and all of that. We need money to buy things we need and we want. I'm now into sports betting as my way to earn extra income. Depends on what type of happiness you are after. Spiritual or Material happiness? Money can only buy us temporary material happiness. However money cannot buy us spiritual happiness. In short, to be truly happy, we should strive to have spiritual happiness. Material happiness is a bonus which is good to have, but it is not a necessity.

unless you’re talking about getting to go on a holiday while indirectly brings happiness, if not, no. the happiness will be short lived
I used to not believe in this but money does bring happiness. You don't have to be materialistic to think so. So yes, money is happiness.

Not completely but it helps a lot. Money provides opportunities and time which can be used to gain happiness.

Most of the time it does. E.g. Money buys me ice cream which makes me happy. But not all the time
