Hi Mommies. How do you store your purees for babies? I usually make several purees during the weekend, portion them, and store them in the freezer for 5 to 7 days. My baby has his own fridge, but the freezer is too tiny that I need to put some in our family freezer which has all sorts of meats and leftover ulam. My husband got mad when he found out. Even though I place my baby's food tray inside a huge sealed tupperware, there's still some risk daw of contamination. Is using the family freezer okay? Will it help if I put my baby's portioned food inside a big airtight container like LocknLock before storing it in the family freezer? I work on weekdays and I can't find the time to steam, blend and feeeze on a daily basis.
