Hi! Is medical underwriting required?

You can find out more from any insurance company that provides coverage for mum and later pass on to baby when he/she is born. It covers both mum and baby's complications. Plus some also covers early Life Insurance for baby. We got it and in my opinion, it gives you a peace of mind.

I had fibroid so the insurance co ask my gynae to do a declaration . And I bought the insurance without any exclusion etc

It depends on ur condition , if u n ur baby healthy n ur pregnancy going smooth means no need to consider

Yes, if you have pre-existing conditions, they may exclude you.

For mine, the insurance company gave my gynae some forms to declare. Mostly about health condition of the mum. And I tink it also depends on the month u r currently. I tink the earlier stage would b easier to get. Later stage, they might want to take a look at ur babies scan report as well.
