Superstitious about causing birth mark

Hi. Would like to ask if anyone actually believed that you could cause birth mark to your unborn baby if you accidentally scald or burn yourself during pregnancy? My hubby does as it happened to his mom and his bro was born with a big birth mark on his tummy. I'm worried as I am pretty clumsy with this pregnancy. I accidentally burnt myself so many times while cooking and I just did again today. Pls share ypur thoughts on this. Thanks

No such thing and I don't believe. There isn't any diagnose of such mentioned. Birthmark may appear anywhere on your body parts, tummy, shoulder, ribs, butt, hands, etc. However, if you are in doubt and would like to have the right answer perhaps you may ask the doctor. I am sure they will be able to explain the birth mark appearance on our body parts.
