How to take a passport pic!?

Just wondering how do we take a passport photo for a new born? Doesn't seem to make sense if we have to bring him somewhere!

Take picture of your newborn against a white background (just put on bed against white bed sheet/cloth)

I did when my baby was a week old. We went to KKH to do it. Price was affordable :)
