I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant and every night I had a hard time to go to bed. Will stay awake till 6-7am in the morning then only able to sleep cause getting really tired. This is cause my legs has this feeling of being pulled when I'm dozing off. Sometime my husband will help me to massage my lower leg and the feeling will disappear but recently even massage also this just won't go away. I don't drink milk and only supplement I took is gestacare prescribe by doctor. Is is because of low calcium intake? How to solve this problem?

Same here. I am 16 weeks and napansin ko din na hirap ako makatulog pag gabi at uhawin din ako kaya panay inom ako water at panay ihi din pero pinaka late ko na tulog siguro is 1:30am. Naka feel din ako ng pain pag na stock ako sa left side humiga kaya from time to time gumagalaw ako pag ngalay na nakatulong din sakin yung pag elevate ng leg (pillow in between legs) para ma relax yung muscles at nawawala naman sya. Baka maka help din satin to have a better sleep yung maternity pillow. Although wala pa ako nun pero plan ko bumili if malaki na tummy ko. :)

i have.also the same feeling...i have restless legs syndrome in which it attacks.when im.about to rest and sleep..so what i do is I walk around or do.something...and i have this before i was pregnant but I just have a worst tingling burning sensation while pregnant.the ortho doctor said i have deficiency in iron and might be diabetic..i just took vitamin D.but the feeling is still there although its lessen...better consult your ob gyne so she can give you.advise..

But most importantly is that if it is troubling u so much, u should let ur Gyne know to see if there are any other problems like fibroid or thrombosis. Usually the leg pain kicks in during the 3rd trimester tho. If it's really nothing serious, I think some stretching, massage, alleviate the leg at night can all help it too.

It sounds like a lack of magnesium not calcium. Try to up your intake of high magnesium food like bananas. I heard some expecting mamas who experienced the same apply magnesium oil on the sole of their feet. Check back with your gynae if it persists and also consider consulting a naturopath who can advise you if you are deficient in certain minerals/vitamins.

new member lang po. hirap po ako makatulog every other day gising po ako the whole night. becouse i have a anxiety. nag aalala lang pk ako kay baby. ano po kaya dapat gawin or anong magandang kainin para maging healthy pa din si baby? kahit ganun ang nangyayari skin.

I m having this sleeping problem. So that's why I don't take nap in the afternoon just take rest. After doing this I sleep at night very well. You can try this. Your doc can prescribe calcium. or you can discuss this issue with your doc

Same does this mean normal to kapag 2nd trimester? I'm worried to hirap magsleep! Nagstart na ren ako pakinig si baby ng soothing music kahit di ko pa sya ramdam. Waiting na maramdaman si baby. Kapit mga mommies! :))

Hi mga mommies. Consult kayo sa ob ninyo kung pwede mag prenatal work out like kahit mga stretching lang at meron na ssearch sa yg prenatal workout. Makakatulong po siya sa pananakit ng katawan pati po sa pagtulog
