Yes definately, both my babies passport was taken by myself when they were a week old :) i had to take countless pics just to get a pic with their eyes open n look straight. it was a tough task for me.
Yes you can. It is actually easier to get a picture when they are young as they won’t move around. Just place a white mat under them and there you have the white back ground.
