I spanked my 16 month old Daughter for the first time today. She was misbehaving and I felt I had no choice. So I flipped her on her tummy and sparked her but. 5 semi hard spanks.she cried and the did the same thing that made me spank her again. I spanked her altogether 3 times before she stopped and then I tried to cuddle her and put her to sleep with her Favourite toy and milk. She calmed down and fell off to sleep. Feel bad about spanking her but no choice. What age did you all start spanking your kids?

i started spanking at 2. aft spanking, i would calm them down and explain to them why i did that. yes i feel guilty too but i believe we have to discipline our kids when it's times to do so

I'm not for spanking unless it's life and death situations. Otherwise I'll try to distract them. 16 months old a bit young to spank for me

I wouldn't say much. As long as you explain why you spanked her after. That is very important.
