bump on head

My 7mths old LO had her first head bump yesterday evening. It happened on the lower bunk bed. Was sitting on my tummy then when I want to carry her lying flat on her back, suddenly she arch her back and her top part of her head hit the metal. She cried like a few seconds then stopped. Poor her, got a tiny bump on her head. Played with her, she smile. Drinking milk normal. No abnormalities. Is there anything I need to worry? What other things I should look out for? Should I be applying anything on her head? Haiz. I feel so bad.

Next time you can apply an ice pack immediately after the bump appears, it will help the bump go down very fast. Otherwise just monitor and don't worry too much, this kind of thing definitely will happen, we just need to be aware of what to do then. My girl also had an egg size bump before, it was very distressing but went away after 2-3 days 😊

just monitor, my baby also fell of the bed at 7months, but she cries instantly and stop after that, all behavior is normal, no vomit, no fever then should be fine. as long as it's not the back side of the head. my #1 also felldown at 7 and 9 months, immediately bring to KK but only observe for few hours then sent home
